Voz de la Tierra

A limited edition production of the "Voz de la Tierra" album for the Colombian music group Danza Colibrí was created using eco-friendly and reusable materials. This sonic experience was designed to be an object of great symbolic and spiritual value for the group's followers, as well as an alternative way to connect with the healing frequency of medicine music in a personal and intimate way during the pandemic, from the comfort of home, since a launch concert couldn't be held. The album box design encourages a ritualized experience when listening to the album, allowing listeners to enter a state of presence and prepare their senses for the sonic experience.

I created a digital collage composition for each song on the Voz de la Tierra album. These artworks were first released on YouTube to accompany the album’s launch, and in 2022 we introduced a postcard edition as part of the album’s merchandise collection.

Each piece was inspired by the alchemy of visions revealed through ancestral Amazonian medicine, and the music of Danza Colibrí.

Designed with eco-friendly and reusable materials, Voz de la Tierra invites listeners to pause, prepare their senses, and enter a state of presence before engaging with the music.

Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, when live concerts were not possible, The album-box design became an intimate alternative for fans to connect with the healing frequency of Danza Colibrí’s music.

Beyond its functional role, the album-box embodies symbolic and spiritual value, offering a tactile and personal gateway to the group’s sonic universe.
